Old workshop program:
We have the
pleasure to invite you to our
ASA User meeting /
Workshop on Advanced Signal and Source Analysis
Being held in Berlin, Germany, on September 9 and 10, 2005.
In this
workshop, we would like to give you the opportunity to gain
first-hand information about new features in ASA, to
carry out studies on example data in small groups, and to
discuss your own cases with other experienced users and the
developers at ANT.
We will
introduce the new ASA release at the first day.
ASA 4
includes a number of new and exciting functions, for example,
the transformation of individual geometries to Talairach-spaced
coordinates, which allows running statistical analysis of
results (e.g. cortical imaging, cortical ERD/ERS and LORETA)
over groups of subjects. The focus of the first day is on source
reconstruction in ASA. At the end of this exciting day we will
take you for dinner in downtown Berlin.
We will spend
the second day with those of you interested in EEG/ERP signal
acquisition, signal processing and ERP mapping analysis using
ASA, cognitrace and/or eemagine EEG. The brand
new concept of Experiment Management will be presented; this
tool allows you to apply a certain analysis method (or
processing sequence) to all subjects and runs on all of the data
as selected for an entire experiment. During this training day,
we will mix interactive sessions in small groups with
presentations that explain the procedure and technical
background of the signal processing functions involved. The
focus will be on the practical application of ASA in EEG/ERP
experiments, the “View” concept and display options, as well as
the details of the data flow in ASA.
Please register soon as the number of participants is limited
to 25.
