Actiwatch monitoring systems

Actiwatch activity monitoring system was introduced in 1996. As the first truly light-weight system designed for long-term continuous use with subjects of all ages, it has met with great success. Since 1996 additional Actiwatch models have been introduced.

In late 2003 Cambridge Neurotechnology launched the Actiheart, an extremely light-weight activity and heart rate monitor; and 2004 saw the introduction of the Actiband, a simple activity, and energy-expenditure monitor.
