As of April 2007
Cephalon has become a full member of the Scan-Med group, a Norwegian
based company with headquarter in Drammen near Oslo.
Cephalon now covers all four Nordic countries and operate in all
four countries with local staff and from local offices.
Cephalon main office are located in Aalborg, Denmark and management
will continue as before with Klaus Johansen (CEO) and Rolf Nejsum
(COO).
January 2006
As of January 2006 Cephalon have
started new sales and distribution activity in Helsinki Finland. The
company Cephalon Finland was started to strengthen focus on sales and
distribution in Finland. Lauri Laaksonen holds the position as Sales
Manger in the company. Lauri Laaksonen has a long lasting relations
in this area of business in Finland and will from now on focus 100
% on the contact to costumes. Cephalon Finland will be in close cooperation
with Cephalon in Denmark and Sweden.
January 2005
To strengthen focus on sales and
distribution, all sales activities, products and employees are
transferred from Judex to Cephalon. Judex will from now on focus 100
% on continued development of current and new health sector
products. The close cooperation between the two companies will
ensure that existing and new customers will get an optimal service
both during the transition period as well as in the future.
History:
Cephalon A/S was founded by Klaus Johansen (CEO)
and Rolf Nejsum (COO) in 1997. From the very start
with a few products, the company and the entire product range has
expanded considerably.
In 1999 Cephalon A/S acquired the company
Scan-Co Denmark A/S
and in June/July 2000 the two companies moved to new facilities at
the current address, near Aalborg, Denmark.
From the beginning in 1997 the number of
employees has grown considerably, and we are still looking for
skilled and experienced employees
