Protocols

Customize a whole group of settings and save them as a protocol. Select a protocol before recording and you are ready to go...no more wasting time adjusting individual preferences before every test. Creating a protocol is easy with the Settings Editor - all of your settings are in one convenient location.

Never miss an important event. With the new Alarms feature, you can select certain event, such as seizure or high impedance, and Nervus notifies you the moment the event occurs.

Continuous Impedance Test

Turn on Continuous Impedance Testing and Nervus automatically inserts an event marker whenever impedance crosses the specified threshold. Combine this with the Alarms feature, and you'll never miss traces due to a loose electrode.

Main Components:

The Nervus Routine EEG system consist of the following main components: 

StudyRoom Patient database:

• Server version running either MS-SQL2000, MS-SQL7 or MS-Access, Standalone system version running MS-Access

Nervus Software: 

• Nervus software is running on the Windows-XP or 2000-Professional operating system and is taking advances of this new, advanced and robust operating system.

Nervus hardware:

• Magnus 40ch. amplifier with up to 40 ch. simultaneously recording channels, 32ch EEG and 8ch used for polygraphs purposes, like ECG, EOG, EMG, SaO2, Airflow and respiration sensors etc..
• Magnus Photic stimulator with computer controlled flash intensity controlled from the Nervus software.
• USB-interface card. This new Universal-Serial-Bus interface Card provides interface from the Magnus amplifier and Magnus photic stimulator to the USB interface on the computer or notebook computer. Furthermore the USB card have several high input analog and digital inputs making it possible to attach external devices like SaO2, Co2, and CPAP etc. The USB-card makes it possible to attach up to 270ch to Nervus.

• Hewlett-Packard computers, always with the newest technologies like Pentium P4 CPU´s etc.

• Silicon Graphics flat panel monitors with resolution of 1600x1024 or Philips Brilliance monitor with resolution up to 2400x2000.
• EEG-table or Trolley
• The Nervus EEG table or trolley features the latest in Danish design combined with  electrical user adjustable heights. Both EEG-Trolleys and EEG-tables features an ISO-trafo for patient safety.

Nervus Video options:

• Nervus digital Video system with 3 different camera options. Standard color cameras, software/user controlled cameras with pan/tilt/focus and LTM camera with build in IR capabilities to record in total darkness.

Nervus Amplifier options:

• Nervus 16ch, 32ch, 40ch, 64ch and 128ch USB-amplifiers and LTM amplifiers available.
